President Donald Trump has announced that, for the time being, he will not agree to any deal aimed at ending the war with Iran.
In an interview with NBC News released on Saturday, Trump stated, “Tehran is looking for a settlement to end the conflict, but I am not interested because their proposed terms are not adequate.”
When asked about the conditions he expects, he simply replied, “I don’t want to disclose that.”
The American president emphasized that any future agreement must ensure that Iran completely abandons its nuclear program.
Meanwhile, there have been no official indications from senior Iranian officials suggesting they are prepared to engage in public negotiations to resolve the conflict.
