His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has strongly condemned the recent brazen attack on the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Kurdistan, Iraq.
He emphasized that such ongoing assaults on the UAE consulate represent a serious violation of the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations and pose a grave threat to the safety and security of diplomats and personnel at these missions.
Furthermore, he reaffirmed the GCC’s solidarity with the UAE in the face of this aggression, denouncing all forms of violence and terrorism that jeopardize peace and stability in the region.
