Pilgrims Gather at Arafat to Perform the Greatest Pillar of Hajj

Today, on the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah in the year 1446 AH, pilgrims arrived at the sacred Arafat plain, expressing their devotion and earnestly praying for forgiveness and mercy from Allah.

According to reports from the Saudi Press Agency, various security branches accompanied these pilgrims to the holy site, implementing effective measures to manage their movement and ensure their safety during this significant pilgrimage.

Additionally, numerous government sectors dedicated to serving the pilgrims have established medical, emergency, and supply services throughout the area, assisting worshippers in fulfilling this essential pillar of Islam.

The Saudi Press Agency also observed the transition of numerous pilgrims from Mina to Arafat, noting that traffic was flowing smoothly throughout the movement.

Today, the pilgrims will perform the combined prayers of Dhuhr and Asr at Nimra Mosque with a single call to prayer and two establishments. As the sun sets, they will head towards Muzdalifah, where they will pray Maghrib and Isha, and spend the night until dawn on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah.
