Four Family Members Killed by Israeli Army Gunfire in the West Bank

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that a Palestinian man, his wife, and their two young children were killed on Sunday by Israeli military fire in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that its teams recovered the bodies of two adults and two children from a vehicle targeted by Israeli forces in the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas.

In a statement to AFP, the Israeli military indicated that it is investigating the reports concerning the incident.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health, based in Ramallah, noted in a statement the arrival of four fatalities from the same family at the Turkish government hospital in Tubas after the shooting in Tammoun.

They added that the deceased included a 37-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, and their two children, aged five and seven, all of whom had gunshot wounds.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the couple’s other two children, aged eight and eleven, were injured by shrapnel, stating that Israeli forces opened fire on their vehicle early Sunday morning.
