Early Sunday morning, an Israeli airstrike resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left several others injured in Sidon and Jezzine, located in southern Lebanon.

A Lebanese security official reported that a strike on the “Sharhabil” area of Sidon, executed with two missiles, resulted in the death of Palestinian leader Wissam Taha and injured three others.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed that an Israeli attack on the town of Qatrani in the Jezzine district led to the initial death toll of three civilians along with six others sustaining injuries.

The security source also noted that Israeli aircraft carried out attacks on the town of Taybe in southern Lebanon while heavy artillery fire was reported simultaneously.
