The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, emphasized the significant role played by the Dubai Police Academy in preparing human resources within public departments and police stations.
This is achieved through the development of innovative educational and training programs tailored to meet police and security needs. The Academy has successfully graduated a distinguished group of postgraduate students who have earned master’s and doctoral degrees, allowing them to continue their efforts alongside their colleagues in enhancing security and safety.
This was discussed during a meeting chaired by Major General Al Marri to evaluate the performance of the Dubai Police Academy for the first quarter of the current year. The meeting was attended by Major General Dr. Ahmad Zaal Bin Krishan Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Brigadier Badran Al Shamsi, Assistant Commander for Academy and Training Affairs, and Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership.
Also present were Brigadier Dr. Sultan Al Jamal, Director of Dubai Police Academy, his deputy Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Abdullah, Colonel Ahmed Al Miri, Director of the Inspection and Committees Department, and Major Dr. Abdulrazak Abdulrahim, Head of the Inspection Department, accompanied by a number of officers.
Major General Al Marri reviewed the strategic indicators of Dubai Police Academy, along with key achievements, future projects, and the performance outcomes of subsidiary departments for the first quarter of this year.
Brigadier Dr. Sultan Al Jamal stated that the initial performance evaluation meeting for Dubai Police Academy contributes to enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating discussions on future projects and challenges. He noted that these meetings play a vital role in implementing a comprehensive work methodology and assist in the introduction of various developmental plans aimed at achieving desired goals.
