The parent organization of the Irish pub chain McGettigan’s is set to acquire Bla Bla Dubai, marking an expansion of its presence in the UAE.

Vision Hospitality will take over the club situated at Jumeirah Beach Residence, which has welcomed over two million visitors since its inception in 2021.

“Our focus is to build upon the solid groundwork already established and to further invest in the experience, ensuring that Bla Bla by McGettigan’s remains a leader in Dubai’s nightlife and entertainment scene,” stated Dennis McGettigan, Founder and CEO of Vision Hospitality.

No financial details or specifics about the transaction were disclosed.

McGettigan’s currently has one pub each in Ajman and Fujairah, along with seven locations in Dubai.

Bla Bla features 21 bars and a restaurant, providing a “day-to-night experience” that includes a beach club, dining options, nightlife, and live entertainment.

The finalization of this acquisition comes at a time when analysts have indicated to AGBI that hospitality businesses in the UAE are preparing for a notable decline in revenue due to unrest in the Middle East affecting tourist confidence.
